Design and build a physical combat robot for head-to-head competition in a protected arena. Engineering strength, weapon control, reliability, and safety decide the tournament.

A physical robot-combat tournament for students, industry teams, and independent builders. Every machine must combine effective mechanical design with controlled aggression and strict rulebook compliance.
Every entry moves from technical declaration through safety inspection to head-to-head arena competition.

ARENA — PHASE 03
Grand Finale
BattleBots competitors must arrive with a rule-compliant, reliable machine that can pass inspection and operate safely inside the protected arena before entering the knockout bracket.
Verify the permitted dimensions, weight class, materials, weapon systems, power source, and control requirements.
Secure batteries, fasteners, armour, and weapon components so the robot remains controlled throughout a bout.
Validate reliable radio control, emergency shutdown behaviour, and safe activation procedures before arrival.
Complete the mandatory weight, electrical, mechanical, and safety inspection before entering the bracket.
Compete head-to-head under the published match format, judging criteria, and arena safety procedures.
BattleBots finalists will be recognised for tournament performance, engineering resilience, and controlled robot design.
