Learn robotics through Webots simulation software. No physical robot building required — focus on programming and strategy to control virtual robots.

A structured path from a first line of control code to a physical arena. Teams learn the fundamentals of robot programming in a simulated environment, then prove their logic on real hardware.
Three structured phases take teams from online simulation to an in-person final.
ONLINE — PHASE 01
Submission deadline — 13 Feb
ONLINE — PHASE 02
Dates to be announced
IN-PERSON — PHASE 03
University of Moratuwa
This is the final round. Your RoboGames custom line-following robot will be delivered to your team by mail. Use the final booklet and technical booklet, upload your code to the physical robot, and validate performance on a real-world arena.
Receive your RoboGames custom physical line-following robot by mail and verify all components are in working condition.
Create an exact replica of the provided final arena in your own space using the dimensions and markings in the task booklet.
Develop and compile your control logic according to the constraints and interfaces described in the school technical booklet.
Flash your program to the physical robot and run repeated tests on your arena replica.
Tune your logic for stability, then prepare the required final submission artifacts exactly as specified in the final booklet.
Outstanding teams are recognised for programming excellence and strategic thinking.
